Three of a Kind cocktail

Hey there, cocktail lovers! The cocktail Three of a Kind is a new recipe I found on the Difford’s Guide website. Soon I saw it; I knew it would be delicious. The recipe, in my opinion, is taking inspiration from the Negroni template. With equal measures of Gin, Bitter and Sweet taste to deliver a perfectly balanced cocktail.

Weisi Basore, beverage director at Bar Cleeta in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA, created the original recipe. Later on, adapted by Simon Difford, I am now adding my spin to it by using Luxardo Bitter Bianco instead of Cocchi Americano Bianco.

It is a beautiful three ingredients sip, and you must try it to appreciate the elegance of this cocktail.

THREE OF A KIND

  • 30ml / 1oz No3 London Dry Gin

  • 30ml / 1oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco

  • 30ml / 1oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

  • 2 dashes Bob's Grapefruit Bitters

METHOD:

  1. Combine the gin, bitter bianco, maraschino liqueur, and grapefruit bitters in a mixing glass.

  2. Fill the mixing glass with ice and give it a good stir for about 15-20 seconds or until well-chilled.

  3. Strain the mixture into an Old fashioned glass over a lard ice cube.

  4. Garnish with orange zest.

The Three of a Kind Cocktail is perfect for sipping on a warm evening or sharing with friends at a gathering.
