Being able to go around the world give me lots of unforgettable experience. I explore different cultures, try fantastic food, tasted terrific drinks and most of all I meet extraordinary people. So, this cocktail is one of the drinks born from memories and many good moments around the world. Caribbean Islands particularly.

Compañero Cocktail

The Compañero Cocktail

Clairin Communal is the result of 4 Clairins blended together – Sajous, Vaval, Casimir and Le Rochers. His sensual aroma wheel adequately expresses the features of each of them. On the nose; is complex, with sugarcane, heady flowers and pear notes. When you taste you’ll find an elegant presence of vanilla, fruits, flowers and spices. The aftertaste is long and downy with a hint of vegetal notes and dried flowers.

Compañero Ron Elixir Orange is an exquisite mix of classic Trinidad rums. Also, in the mix, you’ll find tropical aromas from mature oranges and fresh coconut. On the nose is rich coconut with a hint of orange notes. On the mouth Elixir, Orange is a soft and delicious rum liqueur with a warm and long finish.

Giffard Rhubarb Liqueur is Liqueur made from the infusion of green and red rhubarb chunks. On the palate, a stewed note that prevails over the stringent characteristic of the fruit, making the liqueur both lively and sweet.

The Tropical Syrup I made for this cocktail includes:

  • 1/2 Big Pink Papaya
  • 100ml Pressed Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 Squeezed Lemon and Lemon Peel
  • 1/2 Bar Spoon Turmeric
  • 100gr Caster Sugar

Bring to boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. leave it to rest for 30 minutes. Strain with a fine sieve and press the fruits to push as much pure possible to the syrup. With this syrup, you can create amazing tropical cocktails and is perfect for use with Rum, Cachaca, Tequila or Mezcal.

The Compañero Cocktail is fantastic refreshing and full of aroma. With tropical notes, exotic taste and warm finish that bring you to the silky smooth beaches along the Caribbean coast.
